Johnathan Schnell began his plumbing career in January 2016 while pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Technology. Along the way, he also earned a Certificate in Industrial Mechanical and a Technical Certificate in Industrial Mechanical Technology.
After graduating, John continued working full‑time while completing the four years of coursework required to become a licensed plumbing contractor. In 2019, he added to his credentials by earning his Backflow Device Tester License from the State of Indiana. By 2021, he had completed his fourth year of classes, passed the state exams, and officially secured his Indiana Plumbing License.
Outside of work, John is deeply committed to serving his community. Since 2018, he has volunteered with the St. Henry Volunteer Fire Department, where he completed fire training and later became a certified Emergency Medical Responder. In 2022, he expanded his service by earning his Instructor 1 certification. Today, he proudly serves as both the Treasurer and Training Officer for the department.
Arnie Schnell brings nearly four decades of hands-on experience in electrical work, maintenance, and mechanical systems. He began his career in 1985 as a mechanic at Schnell Service Center before moving to Jasper Engines & Transmission as an engine builder. In 1998, Arnie transitioned into the electrical field, working with E & K Electric and Weyer Electric, and later expanded his expertise in maintenance roles at Dubois Wood Products and Jasper Group.
In 2024, Arnie joined his son John at Schnell Mechanical. Today, Arnie plays a key role in the continued success of the business, leveraging his extensive knowledge to ensure top-quality service and reliable solutions for every client.
Outside of work, Arnie proudly served with the St. Henry Volunteer Fire Department for over a decade, including 11 years as Assistant Chief. His leadership and commitment to safety remain a cornerstone of his approach to work and community.
